The Last Thing He Told Me mixes suspense with just the right amount of emotion. The growing bond between Hannah (stepmom) and Bailey (teenage daughter) gives the story real heart, turning it into more than just a mystery—it’s also about family, trust, and holding on when everything feels uncertain.
It was a gripping story, and even though I didn’t love how it ended, it was worth the read!
