Unseen is the seventh installment in Karin Slaughter’s Will Trent series and dives deep into the underbelly of organized crime. Unlike earlier titles in the series, this novel leans heavily into undercover operations, crime rings, and high-stakes investigations—drawing comparisons to more complex procedural dramas. While some recurring elements in the series may begin to feel familiar at this point, Slaughter still delivers an adrenaline-filled ride with gripping tension and a jaw-dropping conclusion.

Even after so many books in the series, Unseen had me hooked—and that ending? Wild.
