The Paris Apartment

The Paris Apartment offers plenty of suspense and atmosphere, with a cast of mysterious characters and shifting motivations that keep readers intrigued. Lucy Foley’s signature style—multiple POVs and timeline jumps—is present throughout, which adds complexity but also makes the reading experience feel disjointed. 

While the story is more engaging than The Midnight Feast, the nonlinear structure and heavy character rotation may not be ideal for those looking for a quick, straightforward thriller. Still, Foley does a great job creating tension and crafting characters you’ll either root for—or hope to see fall.
