The Love Hypothesis

Ali Hazelwood

Kayleigh's Thoughts

The Love Hypothesis is a fun, flirty romcom centered around a fake-dating setup between a quirky PhD student and a grumpy professor, all set in the world of STEM. The banter is strong, the pacing is quick, and the characters—especially the female lead—bring a refreshing energy to the romance genre.

While two full chapters contain explicit content (easily skippable), the rest of the story is lighthearted, empowering, and surprisingly heartwarming. With smart humor and a strong, capable woman at the center, this one stands out as a fan favorite in the new adult romance space.

This book had me fully invested, laughing through the banter and happily skipping two spicy chapters to get to the heart of a story I genuinely loved.
