The Coworker

The Coworker delivers on Freida McFadden’s signature fast pacing and twisty plot, but lacks the emotional depth found in her other thrillers. While the suspense keeps things moving, the characters fall flat, and some odd details (like a surprising amount of turtle talk) feel more distracting than endearing.  

A fast-paced thriller with unexpected twists—but not enough heart to make me care who did it.
