Kayleigh's Thoughts
Dark Matter by Blake Crouch is a fast-paced science fiction thriller exploring identity, love, and the infinite paths a life could take. When physics professor Jason Dessen is abducted and wakes up in a world where his life is completely different—no wife, no son, and a wildly successful career—he must navigate quantum realities to return to the version of his life he treasures most.
The novel dives into concepts like multiverse theory and quantum mechanics, but does so in an accessible, readable way that even non-science readers can enjoy. With high stakes and plenty of twists, it’s a compelling blend of science and heart.
I’m not a science girly, but Dark Matter had me feeling like I understood quantum physics, and I couldn’t stop turning the pages.
