The unique manuscript-style format allows readers to feel immersed in the characters’ contrasting perspectives, but can be disorienting for those unfamiliar with the style. The audiobook, featuring a full-cast narration, is especially immersive.  

I didn’t expect to care about a fictional 70s band—but the ending absolutely floored me.
