A Very Bad Thing

Kayleigh's Thoughts

A Very Bad Thing is a drama-leaning thriller with a solid plot and a slow-burn unraveling of secrets. While it didn’t deliver on the high-stakes tension expected from a traditional suspense thriller, the story remained engaging with strong pacing and one truly surprising twist that kept things interesting. Even though most of the plot was predictable, the emotional undercurrents and steady momentum made it a worthwhile read.

This was a slower-paced thriller than expected, but I found myself surprisingly invested in how it all unfolded.
