The writer of Hebrews uses a metaphor for life in verse 12:13, by speaking as a coach to his running team. Before a runner sets himself on a race, he examines the track carefully because unevenness can make him vulnerable to a fall, especially when he gets tired. If the path is not leveled, neither advanced runners or weak runners can finish the race well. When we stay on the right path of life following Jesus, we bring healing not only to our lives but also the life of others, and we finish the race well.
God’s Truth and Grace; Why I Love Trochia
I love being a part of Trochia. Every week I get the front-row seat to God’s word, taught through the lens of human experience and wisdom, by this team of incredible mentors. Every day I am honored to help carry the mission of Trochia, because I know it’s a message that I also need to hear.
